Impossible as it may sound, but the game play really involves the mind–it controls the movement of the game’s main medium which is a small light ball. But how does this really work?

The game set consists mainly of a headset that measures your brain waves, a dial-in console that lifts the ball on air using a fan, and accessories that create an obstacle for the ball.

The headset is a reading device that measures the level of your concentration through the brainwaves. Once read and measures, it determines the control you exert on the ball. The higher the ball levitates, the more you concentrate; the lower the ball levitates, the less you concentrate. Of course, people vary in their ability to concentrate. Therefore, this is a good practice tool for people to develop their concentration abilities. Parents have commended this product for keeping their kids with ADHD behave and more attentive.

• The dial-in console does not control the levitation of the ball; it only keeps the ball midair. It has a blue fan nozzle that enables the ball to float on a certain height. It’s really the player that does the job of raising the ball higher or lower. Changing the direction (right or left) of the ball is enabled when you turn the control knob that controls the fan and the ball above it. The dial-in console is also the device that allows you to choose a game by simply by pressing a button.  

Now, the accessories mainly provide a variation to the type of game you choose. Because it is an obstacle course, your mind gets challenged to get through the rest of the course. The hoops, hurdles, funnels, and a teeter-totter can be arranged as you like it. These are just accessories that create variety on the type of game you will choose.

There are four small balls included in the game set and a safety compartment in the dial-in console is made for its storage. Mindflex headset requires 3 AAA batteries, while the Mindflex dial-in console requires 4 C batteries. Batteries are not included when purchasing the game set.
